Our yoga story started together in 2016 with the experiment of some basic Acro Yoga poses. Even though we weren’t exactly aware at that time what we were doing, it has quickly become our passion. It gave us pure joy that we could discover new shapes created by our body, switch off our mind, connect deeper with each other and with ourselves.

Beside of our partner practice, we started to develop our individual journeys and our curiosity about yoga made us travel to India. After completing our teacher training in Rishikesh in 2018, yoga became our spiritual, mental and physical guidance towards a more conscious and healthier lifestyle.

Our teaching style is based on the principles of traditional Hatha Yoga. The reason behind is that we like to slow down, observe our body, work with the breath, discover the correct alignment behind the posture, and look a bit deeper.

We believe that yoga not only teaches us how to keep our physical condition on a certain level with the practice of asanas but also helps us learning self-care and becoming a conscious human being. We support everyone in our classes with hands-on and verbal adjustments to experience the biggest benefits of the postures, and also, we aim to provide you with a deeper understanding of yourself – your history, your current limitations, your actions, and your expressions on the level of breath, body and mind.

Since 2018 we have been teaching over 2000 classes and created plenty of unforgettable memories on the mat. That experience lead us to the opportunity to provide continuous education for other yoga teachers too. As we believe in life long learning (hence on the other side we are forever students too), it constantly makes us searching for new trainings which bring a special quality into our teachings and enrich our life and souls.

My journey to self-enquiry started in my early childhood. Since I was a teenager, I had a genuine curiosity about the psyche and the persona who lies within us. Later that led me to study more about the fascinating science of the mind and in 2012 I gained my Masters Degree as a Psychologist. However, my other passion for mindful movement constantly made me feel that there is a much stronger connection between mind, body and spirit than we would ever think.

After I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2015, my powerful healing journey has started. Discovering yoga and meditation helped me to integrate different health aspects and create a holistic approach in my everyday life which I happily use through my teachings. As I am on a natural healing path for many years now, I learned so much about the dynamics of chronic and autoimmune conditions. Through my work I emphasise the practices’ transformational and calming effect on the nervous system; the importance of the breath, conscious movement, somatic exercises and physical touch.

I was extremely passionate about sports since I was a child, however it was rather a way for me to get rid of my excess energy at that time. After several injuries and stepping into age 30, I felt that I needed to have a change.

Yoga was an interesting path crossing my way and it made me learn how to calm myself down, understand my emotions better and live a more mindful life. Nowdays, when I teach, I love to use the physical power of the asanas and combine it with my knowledge from my fitness background.

I find pranayamas and the alignment of the body extremely important to understand the deeper mind-body connection. I also support my clients as a Certified Breath Coach and help them build a healthier lifestyle by simply guiding them through the transformational power of the breath. I apply a holistic approach by sharing traditional pranayamas and the scientific background which stands behind them.

Yoga practice to me means awareness practice of breath, body, and mind. Being on the mat is my biggest comfort zone and life’s greatest teacher at the same time. Here I find space for joy, laughter and lightness, as well as challenges, growth, and obstacles.

It took me a long time to understand that our yoga practice is a safe playground of learning and exploring, and integrating these tools into our daily life will create more ease & abundance.

I completed my 200hr Multi Style Yoga Teacher Training 3 years ago in an Indian Yoga School located on the island. My yoga classes are mostly Hatha Flow inspired by holistic, Indian and western approaches in order to give you the possibility to explore by yourself what works best for you.
